Below is the list of information needed to process a pre-approval letter:
For EVERY Applicant:
Current mortgage statement
Tax Bill
Homeowners Insurance Declaration page
HOA bill, if applicable for each property
Photo ID
For W2 salary/hourly employment:
Last 2 pay stubs
Last 2 years W2’s
Year-end pay stubs for the last 2 years (this breaks down the pay types such as overtime, bonus & commission)
Last 2 months’ bank statements from where closing funds will come from.
For Self-employed:
Last 2 years tax returns (all pages and all schedules)
Any W2 income from self-employment, if applicable
Last 2 months’ bank statements from where closing funds will come from.
Please note: that we do not sell your information, however, when a credit inquiry is processed, the credit agencies will sell your information as a lead. It is not uncommon to receive 30+ sales calls in one day from other mortgage companies. Many have poor ratings for such reasons.
